New year celebration on the Sedov

The Sedov welcomed the New Year in the port of Las Palmas, on December 31.
Santa Claus and Snow Maiden gave gifts to all the cadets. A Christmas tree brought from Kaliningrad was the center of attraction and the main attribute of the New Year.

At 23.55 MSK, the Master of the barque Evgeniy Romashkin made a congratulatory speech. The chimes sounded, they were followed with the anthem of the Russian Federation and the Master invited everyone to join a New Year dinner.

The tables were filled with traditional Russian dishes.

After the dinner the cadets and crew were invited to the deck to enjoy a concert and competitions.

The concert was followed with a disco.
