Photo exhibition "Aristocrats of the seas" at the edge of the world

The creative association "Marine photographic union" opened a photo exhibition "Aristocrats of the seas" in the southernmost city of the planet, located on Tierra del Fuego.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by the expedition under the command of F. Bellingshausen and M. Lazarev and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On February 13, 2020, the city of Ushuaia hosted the vernissage of classical marine photographs "Aristocrats of the seas" at the Ushuaia Maritime Museum (MUSEO MARÍTIMO Y EX PRESIDIO DE USHUAIA). The opening of the photo exhibition was attended by Dmitry Feoktistov, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Argentina, Yuri Andrushchak, Honorary Consul of Russia in Tierra del Fuego, Captain-instructor of the Kruzenshtern and Sedov Mikhail Novikov, Captain of the Kruzenshtern Mikhail Eremchenko, Captain of the frigate Pallada Nikolai Zorchenko and other officials.

The photo exhibition is supported by Russian geographical society.
The authors of the exhibition photographers Alexander Alyakrinsky, Yuriy Maslyaev, Alexander Kilmet, designer Rosita Ruiz are full members of the Russian Geographical Society, members of The Russian Historical Society, and members of the Creative Union of artists of Russia.
