Please accept my heartfelt greetings on International Women’s Day.

Today being on board of the Kruzenshtern I would like to emphasize that sea brings up professional and strong-minded people. The job of a seafarer is hard but living ashore while waiting for your loved ones is certainly not easier.

There are women-participants of the expedition and female cadets on board. Marine professions have long ceased to be a male preserve.

Thank you for being there, thank you for waiting, thank you for the inspiration you give for new victories and achievements.

Thank you for supporting those who make a memorial trip under sail.
